Anyone maintained Xenoophorus captivus "Santa Maria" in United States? From what I read, they are very rare in hobby than other location "Jesus Maria".

Santa Maria are much more difficult to keep IMHO. The ones I had were more predatory on their fry and I had to watch them closely. My Jesus Maria were colony bred with no problem. Don't have either right now though.

I have the Santa Maria strain, am in the U.S., and have been keeping these fish for 5 or 6 years.
