Undescribed Goodeid Species
Native To: la luz mexico 2002 Adult Size: 1.5 to 2 inches Optimum Temperature: Optimum pH: Optimum dGH: Feeding: Usual Swimming Level(s): Temperament: Basic Care: Reproduction: Remarks: This is possibly a new species and is yet to be described. As soon as the official documentation is published we will ask that it be made available here at goodeids.com. This species is being kept in Europe, at this time we know of no one keeping this species in the United States. In europe they are passing this around as Zoogoneticus purepechus, however this is NOT an official name for this species.
Gary Randall (photographer of the images as seen here) reports that this species is much like Zoogoneticus quitzeoensis.
We will update this profile as information becomes available. If you have have information, please add your comments to its Profile Forum Post.
